Women and the Environment Conference
May 17 - May 18
The Women and the Environment conference gives attendees an opportunity to connect, collaborate and create. This dynamic event is for changemakers who want to establish new partnerships and be effective agents of adaptation to climate and social change. Join conference attendees in hearing and pursuing new perspectives and models to redress today’s challenges and achieve successful outcomes.
The idea for a Women and the Environment conference was informed by the environmental coverage published in Pacific Standard, an award-winning magazine published by the Miller-McCune Center for Research, Media, and Public Policy. The Conference will culminate with a selection of three ‘big ideas,’ generated by conference attendees, for seed capital investment to support further development.
Join Aleka Seville, Director of Community Adaptation, as she meets the women who are shaping the future of our communities, and our planet with unrivaled insight and experience in the field.
