American Public Health Association 2016 Annual Meeting

Yoon will be attending the APHA’s annual public health conference and expo. According to APHA, 2016 will bring together more than 12,000 peers from the U.S. and around the world to  share experiences, network, and educate. It’s the world’s largest public health conference and expo. This year’s theme is “Creating the Healthiest Nation: Ensuring the Right to Health”. Climate change is one of many topics that will be covered at the annual event. An APHA priority, climate change pertains to public health in a variety of ways: water supply issues, vector-borne diseases and the increase in extreme weather events.
